Marripadu police nabbed two theif held, one car recovered


THE BULLET NEWS (MARRIPADU)-Marripadu Police nabbed two thieves who had stolen a car at Chunchulur forest area. They also recovered car from the accused. The accused was identified as Arul Uppan Tarun Raj, 36 and Param Jyothi Sudhakar, 37. Atmakur DSP G.Ramanjaneya Reddy disclosed the case details at Atmakur Police station here on Tuesday said that Arul Uppan Tarun Raj and Paramjyothi Sudhakar who hail from Chennai city had hired a car in Bengaluru to visit Tirupati on June 10 this year. The duo asked the car driver to move to their hometown in Nellore district. While they are on the way to Marripadu in Nellore via Rajampet road from Badvel the duo halted the car in Chunchulur forest area. When car driver had got down for break, they fled away with the car worth Rs.7 lakh, said the DSP Ramjaneya Reddy. He also said that the accused have taken away the car to Tamil Nadu after changing the number plate. Driver and Owner of the car Ramesh lodged a complaint with the Marripadu police. On investigating the case, Atmakur Circle Inspector and Marripadu Sub-Inspector Sk.Abdul Razaack nabbed the accused in Melapadi village in Nagapatnam district in Tamil Nadu on Monday. DSP Ramjaneya Reddy said that they had recovered HONDA xcent car from the accused. Atmakur Circle Inspector and Marripadu Sub-Inspector Sk.Abdul Razaak were also present.
